About our finish: 

We use a catalyzed lacquer finish.  Catalyzed lacquers contain some nitrocellulose resins (which gives high end furniture its great look), but in addition there is added urea resins which makes the finish more durable than the stand alone nitrocellulose lacquer.  This urea resin gives the finish better water, chemical and abrasion resistance.  Our finish keeps your radiator cover looking new for years to come.
